Are silicofluorides controlled?

It’s amazing, the TGA controls this poison in many drugs, lots of dental hygiene products (including mouthwash at 200ppm - now considered a possible health hazard) and some cosmetics (it makes you wonder) but not when it is added to drinking water?

The Food Standards ANZ recently measured the “nutritional value” of fluoridated tap water and fluoridated bottled water and they are giving permission for this stuff to be added to bottled water as there is no nutritional difference - they do not measure toxicity.

Consumer Safety and Standards people - do not want to know about drinking water even when the advertising is misleading, dishonest and it cannot be supported with any evidence.

The problem that we have is NO ONE IS LOOKING FOR THE HARM THAT IT MIGHT DO WHEN INGESTED.

The mouthwash story last week that was in the prestigious dental magazine - the ADA said “it is only a suggestion and more research needs to be done” - IT MIGHT GIVE PEOPLE CANCER - should this not be enough reason to withdraw it from sale? VIOXX killed 50,000 people before it was voluntarily withdrawn - PAN was closed down after a compulsory withdrawal of over 900 products because one (1) product MIGHT have caused one (1) POSSIBLE adverse reaction and it was a pharmaceutical product.

Anyway, I am trying to purchase some and it looks as though it could be quite easy:

Hi Colin,

Thank you for your recent enquiry about sodium silicofluoride.

This product is very toxic by ingestion and inhalation. This product is commonly used in the detergents and insecticides industries.

We would like to ask some questions about your application. I believe you will be using it as a therapeutic product? If you could please provide me with more detail about your requirements.

Please feel free to call me to discuss your enquiry.
