Serious Accident Sends One Woman to the Hospital
Police say 28-year old Alejandra Martinez was south-bound on arrow avenue at a high rate of speed when she ran a stop sign and clipped the front end of another car.
Authorities say she lost control of her car, ran through a chain link fence and then hit the front porch of a house.
When officers arrived, they found that a metal fence post had crashed through the car’s windshield, impaling Martinez through the mouth. She was taken to Saint Johns Hospital and then to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
She’s in critical condition in the critical care unit.
